Prior to his current role at Mastercard International Inc, Danny was the Regional Director, Global Safety & Security for Marriott International Inc where he handled numerous crises spanning man-made crisis like terrorism attacks to natural disasters like earthquakes to major events like the Commonwealth and Olympic Games.
Upon leaving the Army as a Captain with the Singapore Special Forces, Danny proceeded to develop, advise and train numerous law enforcement agencies and military tactical units around the world with Britam Defence before serving Fortune 500 and Government and non- governmental clients with Olive Group in austere environments on four continents.
Danny was then Director of Global Risk Assessments at Worldaware International Inc. which provided operational intelligence and enterprise risk management solutions to 800 of the Fortune 2000 companies and numerous government and non-governmental agencies. At Worldaware International Inc., Danny also ran the crisis management desk which negotiated with pirates and kidnappers as well as being regularly interviewed on major news network like Channel News Asia and The Straits Times.
He is also an adjunct lecturer with the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies at Nanyang Technological University.
Danny currently sits on the advisory council of Harvard Business Review, as well as ASIS International Asia Pacific in the capacity of Regional Vice President of Region 13B. He helps to lead the Asia Analyst roundtable and is a board member of the Certified Counter Terrorism Professional Board. Danny is also an Associate Member of the Business Continuity Institute, a Certified Professional Risk Manager, a Certified Counter Terrorism Practitioner and an accessor with the United Nation’s International Maritime organization.
