Mr Sebastian Tan is currently the Director of the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Inspectorate, 
Ministry of Manpower (MOM). He steers and oversees the operational policies, strategies, 
programmes and interventions of the OSH Inspectorate in the key areas of inspection, surveillance 
and investigation. With the Ministry of Manpower for more than 10 years, his other experience 
includes the development of manpower policies, engagement, capability building and international 
relations. He previously held appointments at the Workplace Safety and Health Council, the 
Workplace Safety and Health Institute and the Workplace Policy and Strategy Division.
